Alzheimer’s Association’s Chapter Supports Alzheimer’s Patients
Alzheimer Resources at the Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is dedicated to providing service and support to Alzheimer’s patients, family members and caregivers throughout Arizona and Southern Nevada.
“The symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease worsen over time, although the rate at which the disease progresses varies. On average, a person with Alzheimer’s lives four to eight years after diagnosis, but can live as long as 20 years, depending on other factors.” ALZ.org
The Association operates a 24 hour hotline (1-800-272-3900) 7 days a week to answer questions about Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss; medication and treatment options; how the Association can help you; caregiver tips; and available Alzheimer resources.
